A SUVsaurus Bites the Dust. On 05/12/2006, General
Motors Corp based in Detroit, Michigan announced
that the 2006 model year will be the last for the
Hummer H1. June will be the last month for the
manufacture of the over-grown gas-guzzler which
gave its owner about 10 miles to the gallon. I would
guess that rising gas prices had something to do with
the demise of this monster. To read more about the
